Environmental Policy
Campbell Pryde is committed to minimising the impact of its operations on the environment throughout its business activities, wherever this is practicable. As a small business services company, the impact of our activities on the environment are minimal, but the joint effort with other like-minded companies could have a significant impact on the environment and the way we all work and live.
We are committed to meeting the requirements laid down in the Montreal Protocol2 on substances that deplete the ozone layer.

Educating the Workforce and Other Parties
As part of Company induction, new employees receive environmental training that describes the problems we face and how Campbell Pryde formulates and implements its environmental policy.
Where applicable, we proactively assess supplier and sub-contractor services and products on environmental grounds before acceptance.
Paper
We manage our paper usage in two ways:
- We strongly prefer to use electronic channels for external and internal communications.
- Externally produced marketing material and correspondence is recycled once no longer needed.
- Internally produced material is on recycled paper and we are continually seeking to reduce the amount of paper used by circulating information by electronic means.
ICT Systems
Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems form a core component of Campbell Pryde's capability. We manage the impact of our use of ICT systems on the environment as follows:
- Sourcing - procurement of new ICT systems is based on a combination of cost and the environmental policies and practices of the manufacturers.
- Utilization - energy consumption is monitored, heat production is minimised, consumables (printer cartridges) are procured and recycled through approved channels.
- Disposal - all ICT systems are disposed of through approved recycling channels.
Transport
The use of public transport where available is encouraged and we do not maintain a company car scheme.
Local Environment
We maintain a no smoking policy within company office.
We are committed to maintaining our office external environment and grounds to high standards. We seek to maintain a good visual perspective and the environmental condition of our grounds.
